We promise not to be jerks.  

More specifically, when you sign up with Left Action (i.e., sign a petition, contact Congress about an issue, fill out a form, etc.), you are opting in to receive communications from us on that campaign and other relevant campaigns and offers (and possibly from partner organizations, if directly relevant).  We agree in turn that we will make it easy for you to unsubscribe, and will do it as soon as possible, upon your request. 

If you take an action that is sponsored by one of our partner organizations, you are also agreeing to receive updates from them.  We will make it clear on that page that you are doing so.   And while we cannot of course control their policies, we won't take on partners who are jerks.  

We do reserve the right to change and improve this policy over time, but the guiding principle will remain the same -- we won't be jerks.
